    The heroine annoyed me And I am a jealous jealous jealous person My husband says that is why I have green eyes And it really wasn't her jealousy that bothered me I think she had reason but her flirtation and kissing the Mark guy was just gross and I hated her for that She led him on And then the whole I am running away

    Normally I'd roll my eyes at the protagonists being so stupid stubborn and lacking in trust and communication skills as to let one Great Big Terrible Misunderstanding after another ruin the remnants of their dysfunctional toxic relationship But in the context of the story Kay Thorpe wrote it made sense because this was a marriage of convenience between two strangers each from such a different social educational and financial class

    Sooo normally I would agree with Naksed and Debbie that he did not cheat ButThis is Kay Thorpe and her H's will pounce on anything that looks interesting and moves no matter their marital status he flat out tells her at the end that he will do what he wants with who he wants Needless to say he totally cheated wit
