    As someone who loves B.B. King's music, his autobiography was a joy to read. I just wish he had gone into detail in several places. I was struck by how much he had in common with Willie Nelson. Both grew up dirt poor, both got there first musical breaks as radio disc jockeys, both had trouble with the IRS, and perhaps most importantly, both remained incredibly decent people with a great outlook on life.     I read this book in 2000 and passed it on to a dear Vietnam Veteran Medic who passed on himself about 5 years ago. The book is VERY open and honest some parts of it about his girlfriends of the past are just plain riveting.
