Rm she loves reading through dusty old encyclopedias But even Hazel doesn’t have answers for the uestions awaiting her as she enters eighth gradeDue to redistricting she has to attend a new school where she worries no one will understand her And at home things get worse when she discovers one of her moms is pr. 45 stars It was really uite good It has diversity which I love The main character Hazel is aroace it doesn t say it in the book but I knew also it says it in the authors note the main characters friend Carina is a trans girl and Hazel s friend Yosh is disabled And Hazel mothers aren t straight because they are two married women but we don t know their sexualities Also I related to Hazel a lot She is like a mix between me and a friend of mine I think it s a good book a pretty uick read and people should read it I m trying to be tougher with my rating books Good night technically morning peeps it s 108 am right now

    You know what? This book was way EVERYTHING than I expected I realize it is classified as middle grade literature but I would say it’s intended for older middle graders as well as the YA crowd There’s just a little language ex damn and some younger kids may be all giggly in a class read aloud where the word “teets” keeps being mentioned because they live on a goat farm where goats are milked regularly One of Hazel’s mom
