    A very condensed biography I felt it covers the beginnings of Mao's political career uite well but it's rather concise on the Small Leap the Great Leap and the Cultural Revolution It also has no time to shed light on Mao's accompanying characters Overall very useful brief intro to Mao and substantial part of China's 20th century history
